Start and finish line is at the University of Pacific’s DeRosa University Center, 901 President’s Drive, Stockton.. Two choices of route for hikers; two choices of routes for bikers.
“Mid-town/Downtown Route”: Start at UOP, just south of the DeRosa University Center (north end of Stagg Way); south down Kensington, then south on Baker, east on Acacia, south on Van Buren to Stockton Ports Ballpark (through mid-town historic Stockton housing area) and return to UOP. Key features: UOP, pretty midtown residential, Stockton Ports Ballpark, Arena and Stockton waterfront, 4.32 miles total
Calaveras West Route: Start at UOP, just south
of the DeRosa University Center (north end of Stagg Way); out
Calaveras Bike Path to Buckley Cove, and return to UOP. Key
attractions: UOP, Calaveras Bike Trail, scenic Brookside area,
Buckley Cove Park; 9.33 miles total
Calaveras East Route: Start at UOP, just south of the DeRosa University Center (north end of Stagg Way); out Calaveras Bike Path to end of bike trail at Cherokee Lane, and return to UOP. Key attractions: UOP, Calaveras Bike Trail, 7.61 miles total

Hikers and Bikers will see and hear about: (depending on the selected route)
Rest stops will be provided on the routes, offering water and drinks. Transportation (sag wagons) will also be provided along the routes for those unable to go the entire distance. Young children are welcome though they must walk or bike with parents or adult guardians and obey all the "traffic rules of the road".
Bicycle Helmets: All bicyclists under the age of 18 are required to wear an approved bicycle helmet. No Exceptions! All other bicyclists are strongly urged to wear an approved helmet. For the safety of others, please leave your skateboards, roller blades and pets at home. All participants are required by the Stockton Police Department to obey all relevant laws.
From Pershing Avenue, turn east onto Larry Heller Drive, then go north on Rudkin Way to Parking lot 6.
From Pacific Avenue, turn west on Knoles Way, then north on Pacific Circle, west on Chapel Lane, north on Atchley Way, west on President’s Drive to Parking lot 7.

Take a break, reflect upon the glorious University of Pacific campus and our All-America City – and partake in a full barbecue, provided to all Hike and Bike participants! All proceeds go to the nutrition programs of the two agencies. Served from 10:15 AM to Noon; non-participants can purchase for just $10 each, kids under 9yrs, $5!
