How can you be a top-fundraiser? It's easy. Here are a few tips to get you started:
• Start early. Develop a
list of potential donors and set a goal. Include friends and family
from your holiday card list.
• Send a fund-raising email or
letter. Create a personal ask letter/ email to send to
prospective donors. Be sure to
share the importance and need for your
fundraising efforts. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if
mailing a
letter to make it easy for donors to
contribute.
• Be sure to include
vendors/suppliers to your ask list.
• Post your fundraising efforts to
your Facebook page. Twitter your friends asking them to
hike or bike with you and
raise pledges too.
